Solar Project (Green India Initiative Private Limited)

Year 2021 22

Together with Green India Initiative Private Limited, Nirmiti Foundation gave 150 solar study lamps to school-going. pupils in rural communities. The lack of electricity has a huge impact on the lives of school-age children who study beneath kerosene lamps, which produce hazardous fumes. Rural households require decentralized, inexpensive, dependable, and sustainable energy solutions due to the constraints on conventional energy sources in order to fulfill their rising energy needs. Portable solar lighting systems, including solar lamps, have gained popularity as an economical and environmentally friendly source of lighting in outlying places. Due to the solar study lamp, kids now study for longer periods of time, utilize more energy, and use less kerosene in the home. Students have dramatically lessened symptoms including eye redness and discomfort thanks to solar lamps. Additionally, beneficiaries of Solar Study Lamps experienced less recurrence of burn injuries
