The Way We Operate
Our Working Framework
At Nirmiti Foundation, our work is driven by a committed team of Trustees, each playing a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and achieving the organization’s mission. Here’s how our leadership functions:
President
- Leads and oversees all operations of the trust.
- Calls meetings and grants permissions for agenda topics outside regular programs.
- Makes final decisions in case of tied votes (casting vote).
- Manages the overall direction of the trust and resolves trustee complaints.
Vice-President
- Assists the President in all duties.
- Takes on the President's responsibilities in their absence, including leading meetings and decision-making.
Secretary
- Ensures goodwill and gathers donations for the trust.
- Prepares and calls meetings with the President's approval.
- Maintains meeting minutes, controls daily operations, and manages trust affairs and correspondence.
- Oversees staff work, addresses trustee queries, and ensures proper conduct within the organization.
Treasurer
- Manages and maintains the trust’s accounts.
- Oversees bank transactions alongside the President’s joint signature.
- Ensures proper fund allocation and completion of financial tasks as directed by the Board of Trustees.
Other Trustees
- Assist in organizing functions and completing day-to-day tasks.
- Contribute to fulfilling responsibilities assigned by the Board and support various activities of the trust.
